ABOUT

In high school, after feeling overwhelmed with the sheer number of different career options available to me and the fear of "choosing the wrong one", I decided to schedule a consultation with a career consultant at the suggestion of a family friend.  This experience introduced me to the world of career consulting and I was quickly drawn to it as my consultant helped me gain a strong understanding of myself and a clearer picture of my college and career plans.

After successfully using my plan made in high school and receiving my Bachelors degree at the University of Indianapolis, I went on to work for a large manufacturing company where I manage purchasing for their Healthcare division.  While I found success and, more importantly, fulfillment in my chosen career path, my life priorities began to shift after starting a family.  Using the same tools I was given with my first consultation in high school, I re-evaluated my priorities and career plan and started Next Step Career Consulting, LLC.  

As a Certified Practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Strong Interest Inventory® and a member of the Career Development Professionals of Indiana, I have the tools and experience to help you discover yourself so that you can make the right decisions for your life and career at whatever stage you find yourself.
